Antonio Rudiger sacrificed everything to head home a dramatic 95th minute equaliser for Real Madrid against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 14-time European champions found themselves 1-0 down just after half-time when Oleksandr Zubkov put the Ukrainian outfit in the lead.
And despite all the attacking talent on show for Los Blancos, it was Rudiger who levelled matters in the dying embers.
He got in front of goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin and headed home a dramatic goal. But the Germany international was unable to celebrate and instead lay in agony on the turf after being completely wiped out.
Antonio Rüdiger literally had his face smashed in as he heads in the equalizer for Real Madrid, away at Shakhtar Donetsk, as they snatch away a point.

Rudiger was left a bloody mess after the collision and had to be attended to by doctors and medics, who used a cloth on his wound and cleaned up the blood on his pristine white shirt.
It was absolute warrior mentality from Rudiger, who will do whatever it takes for the good of the team.

The last-gasp goal from Rudiger saved Real and means Carlo Ancelotti’s men have gone 17 games without defeat.
Rudiger made 203 appearances for Chelsea and was incredibly well-liked by Blues fans, having played a key role in their 2021 Champions League final triumph under Thomas Tuchel.

He’s played 12 times in all competitions and is already happy to put his head where it hurts.
The draw on Tuesday secured Real’s passage into the Champions League round of 16 with two games to spare.
