Gareth Bale looked completely lost in Real Madrid‘s dressing room celebrations after the thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Sevilla on Sunday night.

Just days after the enthralling Champions League quarter final victory over Chelsea, where they were losing 3-0 in the second leg before going through in extra time, Los Blancos found themselves 2-0 down to a Sevilla side managed by former boss Julen Lopetegui.

Ivan Rakitic and Erik Lamela bagged in quick succession in the first half but Real pulled one back through Rodrygo Goes, who scored from that outrageous Luka Modric assist in midweek.

There were huge scenes on the pitch and in the dressing room, with Real posting footage of the celebrations on social media.

Everyone was in fine spirits and buzzing with the massive win – except from Bale.

The Wales captain was an unused substitute for the game at the Estadio Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan and evidently didn’t feel all that involved.

In the footage, we see embraces between players and Carlo Ancelotti but Bale, stood behind Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Jr, looked disconnected from everybody else.

There was no smile on his face and he really didn’t look too happy for his side’s win. Then, Bale was nowhere to be seen in the squad picture posted online – with fans wondering where he was.

Bale, who is out of contract in the summer, has played just 290 minutes in all competitions this season and has been well out of favour.

Clearly the former Spurs sensation’s focus is on Wales, having scored two stunning strikes in the World Cup play-off win over Austria.

He looks nailed on to leave Real on a free in the summer but surprisingly, El Chiringuito believe the 32-year-old wants to remain in Spain.

He joined Real for a world-record fee in 2013 and has scored 106 goals in 258 games, winning two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies.
