Lionel Messi produced a no look pass whilst being on the floor during Paris Saint Germain’s match against Nice on Saturday evening.

Over the years, we have been treated to some magical Messi moments as the seven time Ballon d’Or winner never fails to wow the world of football.

During PSG’s match against Nice, Messi was at it again.

The Argentine superstar opened the scoring with a stunning free kick in the 28th minute.

Gaetan Laborde scored the equaliser two minutes into the second half.

In what was a cagey affair, it was PSG who had the last laugh as Kylian Mbappe swept home the winner in the 83rd minute.

The star of the show was Messi as he produced a commanding display as he continued his fine start to the season.

Although Messi’s free kick was the talk of the match, a sublime pass from the 35-year-old did not go unnoticed.

With the match well balanced at 1-1, Messi was seemingly fouled and forced onto the deck by his opponent.

As the referee was ready to blow his whistle for a free kick, Messi somehow managed to play the ball through to Neymar whilst being on the floor.

The replay showed the true magic of that pass. Messi was on the floor, and with the ball on his weak foot, he managed to pass the ball to his teammate without looking.

A stunning piece of skill that not many players in the world can pull off.

Fans were quick to react to Messi’s brilliance on social media.

One said: “This is not human. To put perfect weight behind the pass, while falling and without even looking….THIS IS NOT HUMAN.”

Another tweeted: “I’ve watched this video a dozen times at least. My goodness.”

A third fan added: “Any other player would be asking for a fk here. While this guy, plays a through ball being down, eyes on the bal…Unreal.”

After the match, PSG boss Christophe Galtier claimed that Messi could become the best player in the world again, even at the age of 35.

He said, per GFFN: “I have an incredible pleasure to see him every morning in training.

“He’s in good spirits, very happy. He is a very selfless player, who animates the game and has always been used to scoring. He’s getting the taste for scoring again. Can he become the best player in the world again? Yes, if he’s in incredible form this summer. He is well prepared. He’s happy. And when he’s happy, he performs well.”
