Moroccan tourism is expected to reach 20 million tourists and achieve a record year in 2025

The Moroccan tourism sector continued to record strong performance indicators in 2025, with the number of visitors to the Kingdom reaching approximately 19.8 million tourists, achieving remarkable growth of 14 percent compared to 2024. This unprecedented achievement puts Morocco just steps away from breaking the 20 million tourist mark for the first time in its history. According to official data issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy, and Solidarity, this remarkable development reflects the entry of national tourism into a new phase characterized by maturity and sustainable recovery, following years of challenges related to global health and economic crises.
