Morocco Sets Record Citrus Export Revenues in Germany for 2026
Moroccan exports of mandarins and clementines to the German market witnessed remarkable growth during the 2024-2025 season, achieving their best performance in history and strengthening the Kingdom's position among the leading European suppliers of these fruits. According to data from the specialized platform EastFruit, exports between October 2024 and September 2025 reached approximately 8,200 tons, generating $12.1 million in revenue. This represents a record increase of 60% compared to the previous peak, and marks the first time revenues have exceeded $10 million. Although the German market has not been a traditional destination for Moroccan citrus fruits, its importance has increased significantly this season, representing 1.45% of Morocco's total mandarin and clementine exports.
